View Our Pet Rental Policies for Ottawa Apartments

If you happen to be a proud pet owner, you’ll be happy to know that as a leaseholder of one of H.E. Reinert Holdings Corporation’s apartments, your pet is more than welcome to stay with you for no extra fee. However, we do ask that you stick to the following pet rental policies for Ottawa apartments.

• All dogs are to be leashed at all times in all common areas, elevators, stairwells, and all exterior grounds.
• As per the City of Ottawa By-Law, “every owner of a dog shall immediately remove any feces left by the dog in the city.” This includes all common areas and balconies.
• Pet owners are not allowed to let their animals defecate on balconies and use them as a bathroom, as these actions damage the balconies and can negatively affect neighbours. 
• Residents with pets that interfere with the reasonable enjoyment of other residents will be subject to eviction proceedings.
